TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the current entry requirements for fully vaccinated UK citizens traveling to Thailand, specifically regarding the necessity of COVID insurance. As of the latest updates, it appears that insurance is not required unless the country of origin has specific entry restrictions related to COVID-19. Several participants suggest that travelers should still have health insurance while others mention that the requirement may have been downgraded or rescinded. Confusion remains due to a lack of official confirmation and changing government policies.
If you read the news it says those from countries with COVID entry restrictions, so the answer would be NO. But as official announcement not made hard to tell and you should have health insurance coming to Thailand anyway....common sense
then if UK you should be fine, in theory ! Airlines implement the checks so as long as they interpret the official rules correctly no issues

It’s only a requirement for people who will travel to a country that requires a covid test as an entry requirement so unless the uk changes their entry requirements then it won’t be an entry requirement in Thailand.
Actually, all I have been saying (and re-posting everywhere), is exactly that: Let's wait for the "Official" Govt. Announcement. Not trying to "take over any debate". Trying to settle everyone down, and stop providing advice based on UN-Official info. (And, FYI -- Not just Judge "past". I am a current and long-standing appointed Arbitrator Judge for the Thailand National Arbitration Commission (along with similar appointments for more than a dozen other Countries).
Thanks "Mate" for your Opinion. I'll Treasure it Always. And "sincerely" apologize -- Not -- for my attempts to provide accurate information (or in this case, note the IN-accuracy of informtion provided by others) for folks trying to make Travel Plans.
yes, they changed their minds again and rescinded part of the order. Not in time for the dozens of people who were turned away from flights whilst it was in force.
Pedant blocked. Life’s too short to waste time dealing with some people.

This is the order issues yesterday by CAAT and sent to airlines. It is in force for flights arriving from 1am tomorrow. It does NOT need to be published in the Royal Gazette.
Several people have said that, but none of them have yet provided Official Source for the supposed CAAT Announcement. Can you? Until then, I fully agree with Paul Joseph comment above.
And, where exactly is that from??? If it is just a print-out from someone's Ticket, I wouldn't consider that "Official" either. In any case, we will all know soon enough when published in Royal Thai Govt. Gazette.
it won't be printed in the royal gazette. This power is already given to the CAAT for health reasons. You won't find the requirement for yellow fever from certain African countries in the royal gazette. The CAAT has the power to require health related things.
That's the notice issued by the CAAT to the airline system for requirements in traveling to Thailand.
But I also think there's a high chance it will be modified or rescinded by tomorrow because of the backlash.
Again, simply repeating that "This is the Notice", doesn't suffice for me as "Official". If you have a weblink to the CAAT website with this Notice, that would be satisfactory,. Otherwise, the image you have posted, could have come from anywhere.
We appear to agree on many Posts, but this is not one of them. Indeed, you did not identify the source of the "Notice" you posted (or where you got it from). It appears to me, based upon type-face font etc., to simply be a partial printout from someone's air ticket or reservation. If so, that is definitely not "Official". Simply because an Airline has jumped the gun, and added this note to their computer reservations doesn't make it so. Finally, I also question your comment that CAAT allegedly has this authority on their own. Show me where you get that from too. Otherwise, I respectfully disagree. My understanding, is that any "authority" by CAAT to impose health-related restrictions, is and must itself be derived from Official Policy from the Ministry of Health.
this is getting out of hand now you using you law degree to answer questions, I'll wait till Tuesday and contact the airline. Permission to leave the court room judge.
no I don't we have family medical and accident insurance in Thailand, I don't want to pay silly money to satisfy the airline to get back

Like I said we have family insurance in Thailand, I just begrudge buying insurance for getting on a plane. I was back and forth during covid, I had to pay silly money every time I came back to work, AXA was a rip off .
I am sure if you research your insurance they will cover covid. If not you will have to get cover as airlines from next week will demand it...all to keep China happy lol.
Yes you will and I dont think your bank insurance will suffice. Talking about bank insurance there was a young girl from the UK had an accident on Samui nearly ever bone on her face was broken the UK bank said sorry no cover. So becarful regarding banks .
