Is it true kids under 15 can stay on a tourist visa indefinitely, there is no fine or banning for overstaying on exit? We arrived on tourist visas, I will extend mine but there's no point in paying to extend his if I don't need to. He's 5 years old.

Hi guys, Looking for advice regarding visa extensions for children under 14. I am currently on a 60 day visa upon arrival and need to extend for another 30 days. My children have one overstay stamp in their passports but weren't fined or not let in or out from our last visit, we plan to keep coming to Thailand over the next few years and don't want to cause any problems in the future but also don't want to pay if not necessary. Thanks for all your replies :)

Hello.

We are going to Bangkok for surgery for my third child. Getting Thai visas for the children is complicated as we live in Mexico and the kids were born in Thailand and a different country in Latin America, and currently the kids born in Thailand do not have residency here.

I know adults need visas, no problem there, but do the kids (the oldest is 6) need visas?

I have heard that children under 14 are not fined for overstay, but will receive "overstay" stickers in their passport that will complicate coming back.

Thank you for your time.

Can I get some clarification on overstay for kids.

my kids (under 10years old) their tourist visa expired a few days ago, totally my fault I know.

I've been reading post in here that there is a way for a visa agent to get the overstay penalty removed or wavied...( I don't know how true that is)

We are in Pattaya and leaving in early jan regardless, flights already booked to head out of BKK for Vietnam then coming back again to Thailand after spending a few days out of the kingdom.

Is it possible to get their overstay removed from their record before we leave Thailand? or will it be permanently in their passport?

Thank you for factual recommendations if you know the process

Hi all. Do you know how strict immigration is for visas for babies/toddlers? We need to renew our 13 month old daughter's visa. Someone at my work mentioned they don't really charge overstay for babies/toddlers, is that true? And if not, is the only other option is a visa run to Cambodia?

Good morning

We need some advice please.

We recently moved to Thailand from SA, my husband is working here..the embassy in S A told us to apply for ED visas for the kids as they will attending school here and my husband and I are on his non B visa which is easy to renew however not so easy for the kids now🙁 can you please guide us on how to go about this, or point us in the right direction?

Would it be possible to apply for new non B visas for the kids now that we are in Thailand?

Question regarding renewing my children’s visas. Their current visas expire on Oct 27, 2019 and they hold US passports. Their passports expire on May 11, 2020. Our next visa extension of stay will be for another 6 months (should expire April 26, 2020). Will my children be able to extend their visas until April 2020 or should I renew their passports before their current visas expire on Oct 27? I know entering the country requires 6 months be left on your passport but I wasn’t sure if that was the same as extension of stays. I know they will have a little over 6 months left when we would extend their current visas but I wanted to avoid any complications with processing my children’s visas. Thanks in advance for the help.

Not for me but....

What visa option would there be for a British passport holder to come with his 2 kids ( ages 5 and 8 ish) and put them through a school here for a couple of years or longer?
