What are the options for activating a 90-day Non-O retirement visa in Thailand after re-entering early?
Approved 90 day non-o visa but reentered Thailand early
I applied and was approved for the 90 day non-o retirement visa in Vietnam. I had an emergency and flew out of Vietnam and flew back into Thailand before the retirement visa was approved just a few days later. I went to our local thai immigration to see if I could get my passport stamped with the visa approval letter in hand but I was told I had to fly out of Thailand and fly back into Thailand to have my passport stamped with the retirement visa stamp. Is there an alternative way without using an agency? TIA

Nick O'reilly the only land/sea border with Mynamar still open for foreigners is Ranong/Kawthoung. No land border is open with Cambodia, but your can fly and return

Similar happened to me, I got a bus to Laos for a couple days, Bused back and activated my Non O on the way back in

You can get a train or a bus out to another country then return on the non O,obviously not to Cambodia but Thailand has boarders with other countries

Tone Tran yes, get to Chiang Kong and cross the Friendship Bridge 4. You will need 40 USD or 2000 THB for the Laos Visa-on-Arrival. You will be allowed a same-day border run only when you show that you plan to activate the Non-Imm-O visa
