I am staying in the Kingdom of Thailand. I have a retirement visa.

My mother is coming to visit me in February (she has a return ticket 58 days after arrival – she won't exceed the permitted 60 days).

During her visit, I wanted to go on a trip to Hong Kong with her. Then we'll return to Thailand for a few days, and I'd like to fly with her to Malaysia.

Is this permissible? I mean, after her first arrival in Thailand, she will have to cross the border (by air) twice.

Thank you very much for your reply, and best regards.

Anyone applied for the DTV from Australia while on a visitor’s visa in Sydney? How long it took for an approval?

Hello everybody 👋

My Thai wife and I plan to visit and stay with my mother in Australia for a week.

Has anyone done this before?

I understand my wife needs a letter from my mother to say she can stay with her to get a visa.

Is a mother in law considered family to do this?

I don’t know whether my mother has to prove other things like her finances if my wife stays at my mother’s house.

I know my wife has to go to Bangkok to the Australian Emabassy and make an appointment.

It’s a bit complicated trying to follow the process on the Australian government website.

Any help would be appreciated.

Myself I have a New Zealand passport so I don’t need a visa.

Thanks in advance 🙏

Not sure if this is the page. But I have a Thai girlfriend. I'm 56 she is 51 . She applied for UK visa and got it within 3 weeks.

I've heard lots of stories that it's failed for other people.

I think it's down to the person you want to invite.

My girlfriend has 3 properties a son that is graduating and has a good job.

Ties to having to go back to Thailand is important.

Without ties you may struggle to get your girlfriend here.

Can someone explain this... tried to get my wife of 2 years a visitor visa to the US. Came prepared with every document we could think of. Including chanoot for land we have, bank statements, hell even a sponsor from the US.

Lady asks my wife 4 questions. Doesn't look at any paperwork then just denies her.

Our 6,000 baht gone.

Questions were.

Where are you going

How long

Where are you staying

Oh and how long we've been married.

Had answers to all of it along with documents showing it.
