Applying from London embassy app do I need 3 months or 6 months of bank statements
Answer summary
When applying for a Thai visa at the London embassy, the standard requirement is to submit 3 months of bank statements. However, it's noted that UK Immigration may sometimes request an additional 3 months (totaling 6 months) depending on specific document submissions that could trigger further financial scrutiny. Additionally, having a minimum balance of 500,000 THB or an equivalent currency seasoned in the bank account for at least 10 days is often recommended.

Does anyone know what level of income they expect at the London Embassy? Im self employed (have been 15 years) and it varies wildly on month to month basis. :) (I do have over £13,000 and haven't gone under that at any point for over 6 months)
Hi Demz. If you need assistance with a DTV then i can put in contact with a Thai local who knows everything about DTV. She’s great and can highly recommend. Send me a DM if interested. Khop khun khrap 🙏
The requirement to apply is 3 months of statements (the most recent 3 full months are best).
But on follow up, UK Immigration MIGHT ask you to then provide 6 months before they approve or reject.
I've seen no explanation or pattern for this extra demand, must just be something in the other documents that triggers them to ask for more financial data.
