Hi what currently happens if I'm 4-6 weeks deep into my DTV application and need to leave the UK (my home country as per new rules)? Do they cancel the submission? Audio rejected? Anyone got any experience/insight on this?
Answer summary
If you leave the UK while your DTV (Digital Transformation Visa) application is pending, there is a significant risk that your application will be rejected. Several comments indicate that leaving the UK may result in cancellation of your submission as authorities are likely to require you to stay in the country until your visa is approved. It is advised to avoid travel outside the UK during this time, as getting a passport stamp may complicate your application further.

That's a very long time for London. Took me 3 days in total, including two requests for additional documentation.
But to answer - as long as they don't know and you don't get a stamp in your passport, you should be OK. If you get a stamp, you could well have problems.
There was one case they knew the guy was in Thailand so he had to fly home for DTV to be issued when he proved he was back in UK. They obviously have access to Thai Immigration system. Doubt they have access to any other.
