Hi.. Is there anyone here familiar with the new online e-work permit system? I already canceled the Non-B extension at Chaengwattana and left Thailand. I needed to cancel the work permit (WP). I have the old blue book, but when I contacted the department, they said I needed to do it online. I have an agent, but she is not responsive. It's very difficult to work with her. She's managing closing the company (DBD, revenue, SS), and she was also supposed to cancel the WP. She was supposed to cancel it within 15 days after I resigned from the job. However, when I checked online, it showed the work permit was still active. I tried to communicate with her, but no response. So I tried to cancel it myself online. However, I had issues canceling it. They requested a copy of the DBD, and I submitted it. However, the office address was changed, and the DBD certificate had a new office address (the new office is located in Samut Prakan). So the e-work permit said it's not under Area 7 office (the old office was in Bang Khae), even though it was issued from Area 7 office. Now, how do I add the foreign employee (me) to the new office address, or how do I change the office location of the work permit? I checked all the options but couldn't figure out how to do it. I contacted the department through various channels and also raised a support ticket to help me sort it out, but no luck yet. Can any kind person help me sort it out? I would appreciate any help or suggestion.
Hello everyone. I have a question. We are a family of three. My wife has had her DTV visa since early July. My daughter and I have applied for accompanying DTV visas. We are leaving on August 12 but still haven’t received a response regarding the visas. Can we enter the country with tourist visas and then, once we get the response for the DTV visas, leave and re-enter with the accompanying DTV visas?
Is it possible to get Thai re-entry permit on my 90 days sticker tourist visa? if yes, which immigration counter can I apply that from. I am currently in Bangkok. thanks for the information
German passport valid until June 2025, extention of stay (Retirement) valid until Nov 30, 2023.
I will leave on a re-entry in June for a 6 week vacation in Europe. In Germany I want to get a new 10 year passport, because it is much easier and cheaper.
When I return to Thailand, I will enter with the new passport, but still have the old one with me.
My concerns:
1.) Will immigration at the airport accept my extention/re-entry from the old passport ?
2.) What stamp will I get in the new passport ?
I understand that I can transfer the extention from the old to the new passport at my immigration where I live. Thank you.
Bangkok MTT Covid extension done. In and out 45 mins. It's busy, but not not crazy busy. Get it done today if you can. Next week only the 27th will be open and I would expect the offices will be inundated with last minute appliers.
*EDIT* My mistake. 29 and 30 also open. But the still will be crowded if you wait until then. Do it now if you can.
