TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking assistance regarding their visa situation post-surgery, as they were unable to visit immigration due to hospitalization. Their education visa expires on October 13th, and they inquire about penalties for extending their visa after the expiry date, especially considering they have a medical visa extension provided by the hospital. The community offers various suggestions, emphasizing the importance of discussing with hospital staff and the possibility of having someone else handle immigration procedures if they're unable to do so personally.
I not understand that you went into hospital today, got the surgery and are released but are not allowed to travel for 90 days. I'm not a doctor but if you are not allowed to travel, how can you be allowed to travel over the island? Your husband got the documents and your passport but he was unable, well that is no excuse for Immigration. If your last day of Admitted to Stay is 13th Oct which is Sunday, the main question is why did you not ask somebody to take care for you. The rule inside Thailand is that an Extension of Stay based on medical conditions will not be approved if the person is in overstay and to be honest you had the time and opportunities to avoid overstay.
I didnt need leave the country. I have not visited immigration. What i needed to do was to extend my education visa 90 days.... That one fully expires in January. The school felt it was best to get medical visa. I am leaving the hospital now. Hoping immigration shows mercy!
If it expires on weekend they shouldn't charge you if you turn up on the business day. But it's leaving it very late in case of any issues with the extension.
