Hi all! We're hitting almost 60 days in Thailand now and our initial travel insurance is expiring. Given were planning to stay using quick visa runs, we'd like to have better insurance coverage. Any recommendations? Looked at nomadsworld and it looked very expensive :(
Answer summary
The user is looking for health insurance recommendations as their initial travel insurance is expiring after almost 60 days in Thailand. They plan to stay longer using quick visa runs. Multiple commenters suggest various insurance providers, noting options like SafetyWing, AXA Thailand, True Traveller, and Foyer Global Health. There is a caution against certain providers due to negative reviews. Some users also question the need for visa runs under a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) and offer personal insurance services. Overall, the conversation emphasizes the importance of finding suitable insurance coverage for the unique situation of expats in Thailand.

Why do you need do 60 day visa run since you have a DTV?🤔

Likely you will get one visa run before you start to face problems. I recommend an Ed visa as you clearly don’t have a DTV

We are very happy with Foyer Global Health.

On a side note: Don’t try to do long connected stays without visa. You won’t be successful for long.

Do you actually have a DTV? Your mention of quick visa runs would imply you do not. If you have a DTV you don't do visa runs, you just exit and re-enter as you already have a visa. You can't live in Thailand on visa runs.

I believe they’re using the phrase but don’t realize it’s not the same phrase for Dtv

Hello, I’m an agent who also takes care of clients holding the DTV Visa. There are several plans available with different coverage options and prices.

I’d be happy to help you find a suitable one.

Avoid safetywing / remote health. Absolute cheats. They will ask for al sorts of unrelated documents just to deny you the claim.
