Just received an email from Taipei that they will go online Nov 19th. Regarding online e-visa: "Due to the policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, we are scheduled to go online on November 19, 2024. Please keep close attention to the announcement via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand e-visa website.

*The online process will take 2 working days. If more documentation needs to be submitted. It can add 2 or more days to the process.

Hi All

Looking for a basic plan / advice.

I intend on retiring for a few years in Thailand in 12 months. I’m from the UK, age 55.

Thai girlfriend for 5 years, house now built near Kalasim, everything good.

Travel to Thailand every 12 weeks, and my girlfriend has been to the UK with me 3 times.

Worked all my life, and just want to relax and enjoy the next 5 to 10 years while I’m still able to.

I don’t have a Thai bank account.

Which visa should I apply for in the uk, and what steps do I need to take to keep things simple.

Thanks so much for your help and advice.

DTV dependent question....USA applicant.

Does anyone know if the dependents need to create their own account on the e-visa Thailand website? Or can we submit the dependent applications through my account?

Curious if I'm going to have to create an account for my 3-year old.

Hello guys,

I live in France, I applied for an e-visa for my wife who is Moroccan, on November 28, 2023. To this day, I still have no news. Our departure is for January 9, 2024 and return is for January 24, 2024. If on the day of departure, we have no news about the e-visa, can we still leave and request a visa exemption on site?

Thanks a lot for your answers

My wife (thai) and I bought a house in Hua Hin earlier this year. In the Chanote, I am given the rigth to use the property as long as I live.

Now I want to get a TR visa for 60 days (e-visa), but what can I attach for documentation for accomodation?

Do I really need an invitation from my wife???

60 Day single entry tourist visas Thai Embassy London (e-Visa) approved 5 days from submission.

No additional queries or docs requested. I uploaded a "Not applicable" page to those requests for info which were either beyond the norm or info which couldn't be provided (ie: 'Photo of your invitors ID' etc).

Proof of residency I sent Driving licence. Proof of funds I sent a bank statement with bank acc #'s deleted. Sent Inbound flight details but nothing for Outward, yet.

Good Luck.

TR e-visa question - the website says to apply 1 month at latest before the trip. I didn't, as I was considering applying for multi-entry, so wanted to get the most out of it - now I am probably going with single entry though.

Per website, the processing takes 3-10 days, same as application in person in embassy.

Will they decline the application on principle, or am I good to apply (and basically have a risk of them not processing it before my trip - which is fine, as I can entry without visa for 30 days anyway)?

If there is a risk of declining, would it be better to apply in person at embassy?
