Update on my DTV application at London embassy. I applied on 29th August and it arrived approved on the 5th September.

In the documents I provided my booked flight was leaving on 2nd September (my mistake), however this was never questioned. So the flight I actually got was on 9th September.

I had a hotel booked for a week, but that was also a refundable / cancellable booking that I never used. I'm now in a condo with a long term rental contract.

I provided a copy of my companies employment contract, recently updated to include some vague details relating to remote work.

I also moved some funds around a few days before applying so I could show the 11k GBP in the bank in an official bank statement (not a screenshot or transaction history).

Seems like the London embassy is still a good place to apply for this visa.

Is there a semi orderly guide posted anywhere for the sequence of events when moving to Thailand?

What I mean is say I arrive from the US with a international driving permit on an a 30 day exempt and grab the extension at the airport for a total 60 days, what needs to happen first besides a LEO and a 7-11 Toastie?

There must be some things dependent on others and a flow when it comes to establishing a bank account, long term rental, drivers license, Visa (ED or retirement), setting up utilities and long term phone and internet, etc

I know i need a bank account to get the visa, but do i need a rental agreement to get the bank account?

Do I pay cash to get the rental until I get the bank account set up?

Bringing an international driving permit, do i need rental agreement and the visa?

I am about a year from moving, but want to hopefully avoid a loop of denials with every action dependent on the others.

I have a long term condo rental in Hua Hin . If I travel out of the province do I have to resubmit a tm30 when I return to my condo ?

Hello from Hua-Hin. We just signed a long term rental a couple weeks ago. Today we entered Thailand again and basically have our first day here.

We have a contract. Should we go to the immigration office to register? Does the owner have to do anything? Somewhere i read, about a special form. Where can I read more about this and how to do the right thing?

We plan to extend for another 30 days, before our current 45 days pass.

Hello, Do I need to secure a long term rental prior to applying for a retirement visa?

Searching tm30 posts for an answer while also trying to do my tm30 online. But it looks like it will take awhile to get the online sorted out. My question is: I went away this weekend to Krabi. Just a 48 hour trip, the hotel did a tm30...so I need to go to immigration tomorrow for a tm30 report to report I'm back in my long term rental or I'm in violation?

Question on TM30: What if the Airbnb I booked did not file for TM30 after I have arrived? Can I still apply for a 30-day visa extension?
