Hello, I’ll be applying for my first extension at Phuket immigration and their full requirements are here: [[members only]/)

Before I apply, I’ll go and check latest requirements but wondering about this one as I’d guess plenty of people wouldn’t have either of these....

"*Rental contract or proof of ownership if applicant owns their residence*.”

I stay at my partners family home (they own it). Would I need anything instead, like a letter from the owner?

Thanks.

Hi, asking for a friend, literally :D We booked flight tickets for Hanoi, it's gettin' serious. So, applying for a DTV Soft Power in Hanoi with a german passport and more than needed money in bank account. Living for years in Thailand in a rental with my friend (Non-Thai). My friend is in the rental contract, I am not.

However - my TM30 card is on that address and that for roughly 8 years. Do I need to include the rental contract in the application? Is it best to offer an explaination that we both live in the house for years and include a photo with it, standing side by side in front smiling?

Or what is best advice?

I really don't like to be a special case, but I am afraid I will not find another person with the same situation, I will try anyway.

In the list of required documents for the one year Non-O visa extension it says TM30 and "Residence of proof". What exactly is "Residence of proof?

Hey everyone 🙂

I’m currently preparing to apply for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) from Switzerland, and I’m a bit unsure about one thing:

Do I already need to show a rental contract in Thailand, or is a hotel/accommodation booking (for the first few weeks) enough for the application?

Has anyone here applied from Switzerland and can share what documents were accepted?

Thanks a lot in advance 🙏

Hi,

When applying for Non O extension, will the 12 months begin the date the extension is approved or from when the initial 90 days visa expires?

Also, does anyone know current Chiang Mai requirements regarding showing proof of residence, i.e. do I need a rental contract and if so, what's the minimum length? (I'm not currently there to check it myself... thinking/planning ahead.)

Thank you 🙏

Hey guys,

When you do your 90 day report, do you also have to bring your rental contract with you to immigration?

— QUESTION/ HELP w/ docs. Submitted section. —

In the document section at the end; some parts seem to be missing so not sure where to upload the documents. (See at end of this post)

3. Document indicating current location *

- For Vietnam I assume??? (Not Thailand)

- Is it both flight & accommodation to upload as below? (Can I attach it all together as one or separate attachments?)

FLIGHT: (Pic of physical ticket with passport, flight confirmation email & receipt from bank to show payment?)

ACCOMMODATION BOOKING: confirmation from Agoda/online receipt/entry stamp/pic of you at accommodation)

4. Financial evidence: amount of no less than 500,000 THB, e.g. bank statements, sponsorship letter *

- only 6m recent bank statements right?

5. Proof of confirmation to attend the activity or letter of appointment from hospital/medical center *

- only school document package

BUT:

Where do I upload my rental contract for proof of residence in Thailand? Should I also attach my Thai drivers license for proof of residence or not needed?)

After these are uploaded; once I click “DONE” that’s what I press after I’m in Vietnam and all docs/pics uploaded correct?

Just want to make sure all of this is correct!

If I’m missing anything please let me know and thanks so much for your help.

Hi everyone, this group has always given good information in the past,

I'm wondering what's the best way to approach my visa renewal:

One-year student visa (university) which expires early January, I'm due for a 90-day report around December 16 anyway

I plan on going on vacation within Thailand from December 18th until a few days after my visa expires (and I assume the guesthouse will

When I come back to Bangkok, I plan on moving to a different apartment.

My plan was to try and get a rental contract in December for January, and go to immigration December 16 to extend my visa and do the report at the same time

However I'm not sure if that works since I won't be in the tm07 system for my new apartment yet and will be registered somewhere else for two and a half weeks after.

Is there a better option? Go to the immigration office where I will be spending my semester break, despite not living there?

Thank you.
