Is it correct that DTV holders must enter to Thailand within 90 days after obtaining visa? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know If I apply for the visa in September and get approved do I need to leave to Thailand within a certain time period or can I fly there 6 months after my visa approval.

I'm Heading to Thailand in November and planning to spend 6-12 months there, initially the plan was to apply for the MeTv in October right before we travel as the visa starts from the date of issue but

.... With the new Dtv is with worth applying for it now even though or flight will be on November?

Will we lose time out of the 180 days? Or does the visa start when we land? cheers for all the help

How early before my current extension expires can I apply for a new one?

I have a non-o Thai wife visa extension expiring on mid november and I intend to travel abroad around october / november, so I am wondering if perhaps I could do the visa extension a bit earlier than one month before expiration, like 45 days or so?

Doing the calculation considering the one month process before the final stamp, getting the extension earlier (like late September) seems to be the option that fits my travel plans better but I am not sure if there is a rule about it or not. (Bangkok immigration)

In case I didn't explain correctly, here's a summary of my situation and my tentative plan:

- extension of stay valid until 14 november

- want to travel abroad from 28 oct to 28 nov

- want to apply for visa ext on 20ish sept, so pickup date should be around 20 october

- is it too early?

Hi guys. I heard that if you are applying for one-year extension based on marriage or retirement, you can apply up to 45 days before your current renewal expiry date. Can anyone confirm this? I normally apply about two weeks before but would certainly do it sooner if I could.

I need a little help. Can anyone tell me how many days before the two month visa expires I can get a non-immigration visa since I am in Thailand on a tourist visa for 2 months?

Will the date i start going from TVisa to Non O Visa make that in the future it will always have to be extended in the same month ?

Let me explain: Phitsanulok Immigration .

If i start TVisa to Non O Visa on 1 September i will normally get the first 3 months Non O on 22 september.

Will this mean that i will always have to be in Thailand in December to get the year extension?

Can the date be made earlier or later ?

Looking at applying for an METV. If they don't approve the 6 month and downgrade me to a 60 day visa, is there any benefit compared to a visa exempt with an extension?

Also, I am about 20 days out, is this too late to apply?
