What is the longest lag time allowed between being granted a 90 Day Non O Visa in your home country, and actually arriving in Thailand, receiving your non-o passport stamp, and beginning your 90 Days of paradise? I was told u actually also have 90 days from day of visa approval to arrive and still be valid for 90 days in Thailand.

I heard that if you're unlucky, the authorities in Bangkok can check your DTV visa in detail on arrival. Did it happen to anyone?

My friend told me it can be a problem, for example if you did it in Cambodia with the 500k freshly put on your bank account because in Thailand they want you to have the 500k for 6 months. Then they can deny your entry.

It might be a small % chance but according to my friend it can happen.

Does anyone have any info on that?

How far in advance can I apply for a DTV? If I plan on leaving at the end of November can I apply 3 months prior? Is there a point of expiration if I don't enter the country in a certain time length?

My son is in Bali on a South African passport and leaves for Thailand in September and plans to stay in Thailand for 2 months

1) he gets 30 days free visa entry - hat does he do for the next 30 days ?

2) does he need an exit airline ticket leaving Thailand when he enters Thailand

3) proof of funds - how much does he require?

I’ll be in Thailand for up to 30 days (by air) then move onto Vietnam/Cambodia. I’ll then be back in Thailand (by land) and will likely need up to 60 days for this entry. Can I apply for the 60 day tourist visa before arrival and only use it for my second entry, or will this visa be applied to my first entry only (I’m not sure if the visa requires a date of arrival). Maybe someone has an expertise with multiple entry Tourist visa?

I entered the country in October 2023, extended my 60 days with another 30 days in Immigration office till Jan 15 2024.

Now I want to go to Malaysia and return back in one week.

Are there any restrictions on the time between entries?

Are there any recommendations on how to properly use this MTR visa and stay in the country for as long as possible?

I applied for a visa (and i get it - multiple entry tourist visa), but I won't be entering the country when I originally planned (both the date and the entry airport will change). Will this cause any issues? Should i apply for a new visa?

I just joined this group. My wife and I are USA citizens and in a few days will be applying for a long term “O-A” visa. What if we arrive in Thailand on regular visitor visa, while our O-A visa is still being processed? If/when approved we leave Thailand and return with our new “O-A” visa. QUESTION > Is there any prohibition or illegality in staying in Thailand legally, while back home in USA, the Thai Embassy is processing our “O-A” visa ? Maybe this question has been asked before. If OK, must we return to USA before returning to Thailand or can we just go to a neighboring county? Thanks for any help
