What should an invitation letter for a Thailand visa contain?
Invitation letter : I am applying for visa and I need an invitation letter from Family . What does the letter need to contain ? Just a "Hi, would you like to visit me in Thailand regards................" , or is it more to it than that ?
Answer summary
When applying for a Thailand visa, an invitation letter from family may be required depending on the type of visa. The letter should typically include essential details such as the invitee's name, the dates of the visit, and the address where they will be staying. Some commenters noted that for certain visa applications, an invitation letter may not be necessary at all. It's important to verify the current requirements with the Thai embassy to understand whether an invitation letter is specifically needed for the visa type you are applying for, as requirements can vary.

The Evisa application is a template form for all types of visas, an invitation letter is not necessary for most visa types and you can just ignore that portion of the application.

@Marianne *******
you might also need to provide an invitation letter if you’re going to stay private as a prove of accommodation. Embassy dependent, some accept only a private adress and a contact telephone number.Peter ******

If so, I only submitted copies of my marriage documents dated and signed by my husband, and a signed copy of his ID.
But other family, I don't know how that works.
