Hi. Can the 500k be on a savings account ? The account is still on my name but gets interest, i can move it to my account that has a debit card (just a simple personal bank account) but I wanna try first without moving it. Anyone knows?
Is there any particular visa requirement to get a savings account here. Is a W-P 100% required? Any banks for more tourist friendly than others? Ask for a long-term tourist friend
Hi everybody, i have a question : if i show the 500k baths on a saving account, won’t they ask to see a paper explaining thoses funds are disponible immediately ? I don’t have such a paper + bank statements are written in french. I also don’t have a monthly statement for that account. Just one every year, so i will show a statement showing the 500k balance on januray 24 and another one one year later, jan 25, showing the funds haven’t moved.
I have basic saving account which is more than 500k THB in my bank statement but it is not my bank card money since it is a saving account which makes money if you leave the money on it
Just wanted to confirm my intuition that this bank statement is fine as a proof of 500k THB?
Question about the DTV application in Vietnam (I will probably apply in Ho Chi Minh), has anyone shown proof of funds in a savings account instead of a current account, and was this accepted? And did you need to produce 3 months of bank statements or 6? Thanks! It's been super confusing to work out with some certainly what we'll need
I am a bit stuck on a technical beaurocracy and would appreciate your help.
I would like to apply for a soft power DTV, but regarding the financial requirements, the 500k is currently in an investment account and not a bank savings account.
I contacted the embassy in Taipei asking if it will suffice, and while they did not give me a clear "no", they said a savings account is preferable.
Now I'm debating whether to go ahead with it, or transfer the cash to a savings account and delay application by 3 months.
I would love to hear your opinions. Thanks in advance everyone
When applying for a soft power DTV would a statement from a brokerage account (JP Morgan) work or does it need to be a savings account or checking account?
