What should I do if I can't provide a monthly bank statement for my Livret A savings account as required by the Thai embassy?
French Livret A savings account - no monthly statement
Hi everyone, I applied last month in the Madrid embassy. I got twice asked to provide an oficial bank statement in English for the last three months showing more than 500k bath.
I provided several annual bank statement until 2024 of the same account « livret » were I have my savings to proove that the money is there since a long time. I also provided an explanation letter explaining monthly bank statement doesn’t exist for this type of savings account. And also an oficial letter from by my bank certifying I have this amount since more than 3 months.
Someone get the same issue ? How did you do ? I called the bank several times but they cannot provide me a bank statement that doesn’t exist. Im lost and does not what to do.

Which bank? As long as you’ve had transactions, you should be able to download a relevé de compte - but not all banks will do this.

The money is supposed to be in cash for 3 months, not in an investment account. If it was in cash, you would be able to provide them with a statement. Just follow the rules and it will be easy,
