I am currently on a dependent visa. My wife is a teacher. I am potentially starting a remote job for a Swiss company. Is it easy enough to change my visa type? I read that I need to apply from outside the country?
Can someone suggest me which country in South East Asia that process DTV workcation the fastest?
I own a US LLC and I'm employing myself to apply for the DTV. Can a "proof of stay" from a hotel can be used to apply as a "document indicating current location" in said country?

I am applying for DTV workcation. I am short of 15k baht on November bank statements because I needed to shoulder the payment of my company laptop but they reimbursed it on December. Is it okay to continue my application?
So Whole thing took exactly 2 full weeks. They told me estimate 25 day business days, i know they tell you that to not give you any high expectations. was kinda getting worried id be around there, since it is high season. but everything went very smooth! they asked for docs once(incorporation letters + 3 months bank statement). Ottawa is pretty chill and just wants your last one to reach the 500,000THB threshold by the way.
If anyone has any questions applying from Canada, let me know!
How many client documents (contracts/invoices) are typically required for a DTV Workcation application? Also, is approval faster via an embassy/consulate or the Thai e-Visa website? Thanks.
I’m applying for the DTV workcation in Jakarta in the fourth week of August. For the online application’s hotel booking requirement, do I need to show a fully paid 2–3 week reservation? I plan to book and pay for about 2 weeks, then extend and pay as I go if processing takes longer.
Officially from Ho chi minh in Vietnam for DTV Workcation, the information I read says we can use a sponsor for the 500k bhat in account.
After paying for the application they have stated that a sponsor is not allowed, and the funds need to be shown in my account for a minimum of 6 months.
Can anyone clarify why the sponsor cannot be accepted when everywhere I've looked it seemed a legitimate path?
Is this a glitch in the system? Did the rules change?
