I'm wondering what's the best way to approach my visa renewal:

One-year student visa (university) which expires early January, I'm due for a 90-day report around December 16 anyway

When I come back to Bangkok, I plan on moving to a different apartment.

My plan was to try and get a rental contract in December for January, and go to immigration December 16 to extend my visa and do the report at the same time

However I'm not sure if that works since I won't be in the tm07 system for my new apartment yet and will be registered somewhere else for two and a half weeks after.

Is there a better option? Go to the immigration office where I will be spending my semester break, despite not living there?

With an ox visa you have to report to immigration yearly to show your bank details and medical insurance which was due today. They told me date you have to report resets if you leave the country to a year from when you return which is 11th November 2025

I got the visa approved! But now what?

In the UK at the moment and just received my new UK passport.

My retirement visa and multi entry are in my old passport which I also have.

Where and when will this get transferred to the new passport?

Regarding a residency certificate I understand that the first 90 day report must have been completed, before applying. Yet I read on various expat posts that immigration are accepting just the TM30, passport, visa, etc, without the TM47. Is this now the case and is it written somewhere official?

I just renewed my passport at the Australian Embassy in Bangkok. I have a Retirement Visa and multi entry stamp in the old passport, which I still have on hand. I plan to present both old and new passport to the immigration officer to get stamped out of the country. Question is whether the existing, valid Retirement Visa and multiple entry stamp will be transferred to the new passport on the day of departure by Immigration? I have a sinking feeling in my stomach that I will need to visit Chaengwattana to sort it out, prior to flying. Incidentally, I will exit via Suvarnabhumi before having to renew my current 90 Day Report, so that doesn't present any issues. Much appreciated to those who can offer their solid experience here. I have a question about staying in compliance with the TM 30

I Have about 6 months left on my extension.

non o based on retirement multiple entry.

I have been out of Thailand traveling for about 5 months now.

I ended the lease on a rental house the last time I was in Thailand and I am planning on living in a different province when I return in a few weeks.

Upon returning to Thailand I plan to stay one night at a hotel in Bangkok and then take a bus to another province where I will stay in a hotel until I can find a condo or apartment to rent as soon as possible.

Can the hotels report my stay to Immigration and print copy of the TM 30 for me to keep?

Is that all that is necessary until I rent a condo and the landlord files a TM 30 ?

I was approved for a DTV visa. I already have an education visa which is expiring in a few days. I'm visiting my home country of Canada at the moment and the plan is to return to Thailand with my new DTV visa. Even though my ed visa will be expired, should I have cancelled the initial one first? Is there something I need to do now to avoid problems?
