Has anyone with debt in thier home country been able to get the DTV? Would they deny your application because of that?

I am currently on an ED visa but I am currently back in the UK (been back for 3 weeks).

I have a re-entry permit.

Over the last 3 weeks, i gained inheritance money, i have secured an online remote working job, which all ties in perfectly to apply for a workcation DTV.

I want to apply for the DTV as this would be perfect for me, but conscious I am on the ED visa still with a re-entry permit already paid for. I also already have my return ticket to thailand booked and i leave Aug 31 (not much time).

Am i able to apply for the DTV and cancel my ED visa once approved and then return to Thailand? I can start the application now but i only want to if i know i can cancel my ED visa once i get the DTV approved.

Any advice?

So I am curious how people think I should handle this situation. I leave for BKK dec 11. I am looking into the dtv and the thing that’s unclear to me is the format in which the 500k baht is in. I have multiple bank account and brokerages etc totaling well over 500k but obviously in different accounts that consistently have larger deposits and withdraws. If I send it all those statements do you think they will accept that?

Australian passport, arriving 3rd of September to bangkok international airport. One way ticket.

At the momment I have no Visa, will I get 30 days on arrival, or 60 days on arrival,

Can you extend for another 30 days, regardless of if I get 30 or 60 days on arrival.

Do immigration require an onward ticket, if so, does it have to be a plane ticket, or would something like a bus ticket, hat yai to Penang be sufficient.

- Is DTV an option?

To obtain a 12 month extension based on marriage, (after arriving in Thailand on a Type O visa from UK) do I need to own property or can I have a hotel as a temporary residence? Or even a friends house?

Hello everyone, couple months ago I got my visa in Jakarta. Got it in around 7 working days, I recently saw you need to do location reports every 3 months.

My question is:

Do I need to report every 3 months after I got my visa or the 3 months start counting after the last time you left the country? I got the visa June 26th but left the country July 27th. TM30 report must be done in September or October? Thanks in advance
