you might be questioned at the airport. In that case they dont listen to the answer (they wont know the names of all teachers in Thailand), but just look to the way you react to see if you are a geniune student.

not always true.. cases of people being questioned staying little less than 6 months (with a non-touristy pattern) have been reported 🤷‍♂️

sb got refused in koh phangan for an extension bc a flag. Got extension in samui without problem. So also "being flagged" and the follow up is at the discretion of the officer/office apparently🤷‍♂️
