TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the chances of entering Chiang Mai on a visa exemption given the user's past stay history. Comments suggest that having a Dutch passport and previously staying in Thailand for extended periods might raise concerns at immigration. Recommendations include preparing necessary documentation such as proof of funds, onward travel, and accommodation to facilitate entry. Some users suggest that purchasing a fast track service could help expedite the process, while others advise obtaining a proper visa if there's significant worry about entry denial.

Change your passport. Ofc they have your history in digital db, however usually check mainly the passport. There is always some chance to get extremly unlucky, however from your history is visible that you just spend the winters here and most probably dont work offline, so i wouldnt expect huge problems. Also as other suggested, prepare all required docs( money, onward ticket, hotel reservation ).

Visa exemption is “proper” entry.

Thailand needs to write a proper policy.

Have you received a warning before? You're around 5 months in the last year, so it's a little iffy. But generally you will receive a warning before being outright denied entry.

I would recommend having the 3 proofs if you want to enter.

1) Proof of funds (20,000 baht or equivalent in another major currency) IN CASH ONLY

2) Proof of onward travel (a ticket out of Thailand within 60 days of arrival)

3) Proof of lodging (at least the first 1-2 weeks of a hotel booking)
