Just got approved 🥳

Washington DC Embassy Applied February 14th

Request for additional documentation February 26th

(I initially submitted 3 statements from cash app and they wanted to see it in a real bank account so I transferred $15,000 USD to my chase bank and only submitted the statement for February)

Status Changed to Pending Approval February 28th

Approved March 3rd

I applied at night on Friday and that Monday was presidents day so technically it took about 10 business days.

This was the workcation option so I submitted:

Screenshot from my state website of my business being registered and in good standing

Cover letter explaining the nature of my business and that my clients are not thai

My website

A selfie I took of my myself against a wall and I used canva to make the background white

My ID as proof of location

My passport

Flight number for flight I havent purchased yet and address of hotel that I booked just in case but they didnt ask for proof of that

## Hope this helps someone [😊]([members only])

Application dependent kid (18 months old) Jakarta

On the second page they ask for occupation. Do I just enter the same info like I did for my appliu(main DTV holder)?

I’m a bit confused 🙃

Thank you so much for your support 🙏

I am a citizen of Myanmar currently living in Chiang Mai with a Non-ED visa.

My current student visa will expire in coming May since it is for a one year program. So, I am planning to apply for a DTV visa to live longer in Thailand.

I would like to know if it is still possible to go back to Myanmar (Yangon) and apply the DTV visa this year?

I am quite worried about the airport security news I have heard lately. Also, I am within the age scope that they need for the military service. That's why...

Can someone please give me some advice?

Thank u in advance!

Edit :Thank you very much for all your suggestions. I am now planning to go to Cambodia. Your suggestions helped. I didn't ask in the wrong group. 🥰

Hi folks just wanted to get the latest on which embassies outside of Thailand can offer the multiple entry Non O marriage visa. Singapore had it for years, removed it, recently brought it back, then removed it again :(.

Coming in on a single then extending inside Thailand is not an option due to the 60 day inside country ( before you can apply ) criteria as I work on rotation. Very frustrating as I'm sure this effects a large number of people who bring in good money to the country. Coming in on a single every time, applying 21 days before online will just not work, that method would also require me to have 400k locked up for the entire year.

I will be working in Australia next month for a little while if that helps ,?

I am looking at the Thai Embassy Los Angeles web site... I am confused.. I thought that one only needed the funds in the bank two months prior to the 90 day visa expires.

please explain.. maybe I am not looking at the correct info ..

would like to obtain the 90 day visa and then apply for the marriage visa after 60 days..

here is what is on the Thai Embassy Los Angeles web site.

Required documents to upload in the system (Large and clear JPEG or PDF format) to stay with Thai family residing in Thailand (more than 60 days):

1. Passport Biodata Page or Travel Document (Must be valid within 6 months from travel date)

2. Photograph of the applicant, taken within the past six months

3. Document indicating current location (driving license, bank statement, or proof of stay)

4. Recent bank statement showing the applicant's name and ending balance of no less than $15,000 or proof of monthly income of not less than $1,500/month) along with the current bank statement showing incoming income

5. Personal details of a family in Thailand, e.g. valid Thai ID card or Thai Passport

6. Proof of relationship to a family in Thailand (immediate family only), e.g. A copy of marriage certificate / birth certificate / certificate of adoption

if this is not the visa I want.. please to direct me to the correct visa.

Thank you

Hi everyone. I'm after a bit of advice. I want to obtain a O-A visa in the UK and come to Thailand. I understand that it lasts for 12 months and that I can leave the country and come back in and get another 12 months. What I want to know is, can I continue to do this every year or is there a limit. I do realise that I need 12 months insurance initially to get it. Many thanks.

Hello! I am seeking clarification on my Ed-Visa extension, which is due to expire on 10th July, although my language program ends on 10th May; is it permissible for me to remain in Thailand until 10th July?
