I'm planning to apply for the evisa in Vietnam through Thai soft power (Muay Thai).

I'm currently in Thailand. Do I have to leave thailand first before I can submit my online application on [members only]/

So I applied for the DVT on a remote work in New York and paid and it went to processing. Now it's been almost a month and half haven't gotten anything back so I'm concerned. How do I follow-up? I'm currently out of the country.

DTV + Mandatory 90-Day Reporting

As with nearly all Thai Visas and Extensions of Stay in Thailand (with only one visa type as an exception), there is a requirement for those who have made entry into Thailand and stayed continuously within Thailand for 90 days or more to do 90-Day Reporting with Thai Immigration.

Inexplicably, why are there rumors that 90-Day Reporting is not necessary for DTV is unknown, but for the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV), 90-Day Reporting is specifically required as follows:

As per Thai Immigration Order #135/2567 (2024), dated 15 July 2024 implementing the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV),

> Section 5 requires 90-Day Reporting for those who made entry into Thailand using a DTV.

Also, for reference are the Cover Sheet of related implementing Immigration Orders dated 15 July 2024 and both the signed copy and Royal Gazette published copy of the Interior Ministry Ministerial Regulation outlining the Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)

Hi there. I'm just trying to understand the bank account situation before applying for the DTV.

Its my understanding that I need to have THB 500,000 siting untouched in a Thai bank account for period of time before I can apply for the DTV.

My question is; how can you establish a Thai bank account if you don't already live in Thailand? Also, its my understanding that you can't obtain a permanent residential address (to open a bank account) unless you have some form of visa already allowing you to live Thailand.
