Hi ๐Ÿ‘‹ If I use an agent in Thailand to help me with the immigration process. I am in the United States and plan to apply with a U.S. Thai Embassy.

Is it common to pay the agent all of the money up front and they pay the fees for example: the online application fee, soft power activity fee to the school etc? Or should I pay the fee for soft power business directly and get a letter from them. Then use the agent to help with the online application process.

Has anyone have any experience with using a agent to help them with their DTV?

Thanks!

My passport is down to 3 empty pages, the re-entery permit will take up one half of one of those pages. If I get a new passport when home, will I be able to enter whit my old punche through passport? Suggestions for what I should do are appreciated.

I have a question. I want to comes in January to Thailand. Stay about 28 days. Than, i go to Laos. Stay there 2 weeks. Travelling there. Get a visum stamp at the border in Vienteane. For 30 days. That is not a problem. Afther 15 days in Laos, i entry the border from Thailand at Vienteane. And needs a entry stamp for 30 days in Thailand. From the immigration officer. This is my plan. It,s the first time in my life that i go over the border and ask a stamp to entry again Thailand. I visited Thailand many times. Allways on time back out of Thailand. Thanks your advise .Ivo .

Hello !

Can I ask you the experts a question about the financial statement for a Non-OX immigration visa that my wife and I are applying?

When I called the Thai immigration office, we were told that as long as I have 3 miillion THB in my bank account, my wife as my dependent does not need to have another 3 million THB in her bank account.

Now for the application, I have my financial statement ready, but does she also need to submit another copy of the same financial statement?

HI, has a person from Laos obtained a DTV for medical purposes? My friend has the required bank balance in a Thai Bank, as well is also about to undergo Invisilein Dental services for the next year. The Dental office will supply the documents for the procedure and timeline.

My bank asked me if I want the immigration letter confirming the account balance for renewal of my one year visa in Thai language or English. Does it really matter?

I have been told by my employer that I am OK to work remotely in Thailand on a pert time basis 25 hours per week.

This suits me fine as I was going to retire/semi-retire.

Is anyone else doing this from the UK as I would like to know about the double tax arrangements and whether this forms any part of the DTV application.
