I have a question for Americans on Social Security. Can you have your direct deposit for SS into your Thai bank account?

So i am a little confused when applying for the non o visa on the thai e visa website, some have said that you do not need the health insurance for the non o (90 days) but when you pick the sub category (1 year extention ) retirement you need it . I thought you can go into thailand on the non o and do everything there within 90 days to get your non oa . So the wyestion is do i need the health insurance when applying for the 90 days non o or not.

Any1 know the current Retir. O/A health insurance coverages needed?

Asking for a friend . If you are on a Non -OA visa and do the extension by moving the 800,000 into a Thai bank , does the visa status change to a Non -O ? This based on retirement. Thank you
