Because they are a nationality that is difficult to get approval. So they think an agent will be successful. But it is getting more difficult to get approval for DTV. This immagration is complaining that this visa is just being handed out and correct documents are not being checked. Even doing border run is getting more difficult for DTV. Thai immagration has now created a form they are completing when you cross

Why would you ever get an agent for that? It would literally be longer and more difficult with an agent… fill out one form and it’s done vs taking time to explain to someone what to fill
