Prachinburi require the 24 hour report after returning from another country, but they don't require in country reporting. No sure if they will fine you over the matter, but they fined someone the maximum for screwing there 90 reporting. (Not me by the way).
I had they same problem, I went to the imm office on the 30th and was told Bangkok had not sent the email saying the documents passed, a few hours later the imm office phoned me and told me they had the email
During a extension of stay (marriage) the immigration office once asked when the money was transferred into Thailand, my wife checked in our bank book and gave the date, and that was accepted. On two other occasions nothing was asked further.
