well unfortunately i have a lumpsum payment from my pension a few weeks before the due date and they BBK wanted to check it was still there, mind you if they had checked the previous year (which they had) they could have seen it stayed there and used as intended, but they can check.

yeah, the lady boss once called me during "under the consideration period" saying Bangkok immigration has requested an updated bank book, so it can happen.

Yes initial reports things were being unlocked quickly, but now perhaps head office are making further checks, its now taking weeks.

There is no offical time or limit but you have to convince the immigration officer your a tourist and therefore no need to get a long term visa.
