Does any explanation help with immigration regarding the late 90-day notification or visa renewal? My current situation is that I am bedridden and cannot move, meaning I cannot walk. The travel distance is 360 km.

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are bedridden and unable to travel for your 90-day report or visa renewal in Thailand, there are several options available. You can ask someone to submit the 90-day report on your behalf or complete it online if possible. If you miss the deadline, you may need to pay a fine, typically about ฿2,000. In cases of hospitalization, immigration offices often understand the situation, but communication with them is crucial. If necessary, you might also explore the option of a medical visa if under doctor's care.

This is from the second page of the TM7 form. It's the form used for extensions at immigration.

Either do your 90 day report online or get someone to go and do it on your behalf. Or ignore it and pay the fine next time you go to your immigration office

If you are under a doctor's care they can process a medical visa for you.

He's already on an initial visa, and now an extension. This is just about how to to do the 90 days report and the following 1 year extension.

฿2,000 baht usually works to pay the fine

If it’s not your initial 90 day report you can do it online

A 90 day report was due, when I was hospitalized. My wife called immigration, then took my passport to immigration. They understood the situation.

A renewal might be different.

You just need a paper from a doctor/hospital showing you're for example disabled. It works for extensions.
