doubt it they very rarely loan to foreigners or will want thai guarantors

i have found anything to do with thai online app generally useless i have been trying to book an appointment with online app for phuket license etc and it’s useless most in thai and then won’t accept information so seems i need to make the trek down to office to book an appointment to renew x

yep and sometimes they as easy as apple pie... who knows with these banking staff....

all that should be in our passport anyway

dont be surprised they ask for more then passport, presently passport seems enough but a few years ago they wanted forms filled out, in phuket we have a drive through max 5 mins and lady just takes passport and processes nice and simple and easy..

its hit and miss, even though we have been with SCB for more then 13 yrs you would believe how difficult and stupid things get, at our local branch they know my wife and i very well, i went to ask for a bank statement or they dont have to print it out and give it to me just tell me if there was a remittance from my account to someone else on a certain date for this amount of money as they say they didnt receive it, we need copy passport, i dont have with me i have my thai license or i can show you a photo of my passport on my phone, after mins of discussing and there were seeing i was getting agitated not angry the manage came out and obviously knows me and took a print out and gave it to me, i checked and remittance did go so i handed the statement back and left. even the small things with banks and their staff are plain down outright difficult they can make things.... its the thai head in box syndrome cannot look outside the box... too difficult or we mite get into trouble...

you can get a dependent visa based on one having a retirement visa so i cannot see why not getting the sane based on work permit most people are married or partners when taking employment overseas in foreign countries good luck

just so and tell them u didn’t understand and pay the fine it shouldn’t be much i was 38 days over as thought mine coincided with my wife’s they were ok think fine was 2,000 just told me return in 52 days to do the 90 again

i had mine for a while now the best way to reset your yearly stay is leave the country and return and you get an automatic one year stamp in your passport agree at airport immigration because of lock downs my wife and i couldn’t travel outside thailand so we went to immigration with a letter from TE immigration guy nice but apart from the cost 1900 each to do it’s again a lot of paperwork and photocopies and time consuming believe me when they open borders again just leave and return so much easier xx

i have had mine and when i applied 3 yrs ago took 60 mins a mate just applied and received his in one month about 2 months ago but i heard similar things from others can take a few months to process but don’t know why immigration got nothing to do they are not busy as TE need to go to them for final approval and sign off x
