Can I check if a retirement visa will allow me to get a car loan ? I have regular income overseas.

Yes you can. The down payment is higher though. I did! Go to Toyota dealership and talk to someone in sales.

 oh thanks for the advice mum I have only been living in Thailand 6 years with my Thai wife , daughter , step son with 2 cars and 2 motorbikes. All paid for apart from the big family car . Why wouldn’t you get a car loan with next to nothing interest.

 it would have to be Farang owned to buy car or truck , Unfortunately Thais don’t do maintenance, I just bought a Toyota Rocco , Same interior as Fortuner , I just wanted it , its Beautiful, 😂

I was under the impression that you will need a Thai work permit to get a loan , if you have Thai wife you can put it her name . That’s what I did
