I've used T Mobile here for many years. But I still have a house in the US as well as the one I've had here for 20 years. Magenta Senior plan. My wife and I are now $80. Free texts, which is all I need. I also have Magic Jack for my old landline number, $59 a year and I use the app to make free calls to the US. The actual unit is plugged in at my US house with a uninterruptible power supply that also keeps my fiber optic internet there online. My T Mobile is on auto pay with them for the $10 discount. I use AIS here so I can do my Thai banking in the US as well.

They will probably let you in again on a tourist another exempt but no guarantee. If it looks like you are doing visa runs they can deny you entry. A tourist visa from a nearby country is more assured. Immigration has said they are not limiting exempt admissions, just if you appear to be trying to live in Thailand without the proper visa by doing border runs to stay. Good luck! We got married in the US and Thailand used to accept our marriage certificate but now it has to be sent to the US Department of State for their certification and then to the Thai Consulate for translation and certification, then to the Amphur to record and provide the Or Kor for immigration! Ridiculous!

Audun Sove Lorentzen in that case you will have to leave Thailand and enter on visa exempt. If you have an O-A you have to have insurance and you can't convert from an O-A to an O inside Thailand.

You will need an onward flight within 60 days if you arrive visa exempt. I had a 90 day return flight when I entered in January and the IO said that I should have the proper visa type and that having a Thai wife won't save me next time. I could be denied entry.

Terry Bill McGinty this year you must show ฿800K in you Thai account for two months before application, even for a new change of visa status. That kind of eliminates the agent doesn't it? I don't think agents will deposit the money in your accout for two months!, do you?
