I bought an ASUS router from Tukcom, and set the router up for my Nord VPN. Any connection to the the 2.4 or 5g connections on my Asus router is connecting to the region. The Roku stick is plugged into the TV, it also connects to the VPN. Without the router, I could only connect with computer, tablet or phone with a vpn setting to those apps that needed it.

IDK about AMZ fire stick, but I have a Roku from US. It works perfectly here, but only with a VPN. AMZ Prime Video works also, but only with the VPN.

I entered on visa exempt, extended the exempt stamp for 30 days, applied for Non O during the 30 day extension and received my Non O about 6 weeks after the initial visa exempt arrival. I do not have an OA. I'm on a Non O. You apply for Non O in Thailand, and you apply for a OA in your country. Non O doesn't have health insurance or police clearance requirements, but requires 800k THB seasoned in bank for 3 months. I did not need the Tricare letter, but I asked for it as an extra 'just in case' problem. I sent you a PM.

. I’ve got the letter from Tricare that is needed for an OA. I requested it earlier last year before I arrived in Thailand. The visa I have (non O) doesn’t require it, but just an extra layer of protection if things changed. Basically it states “There are no coverage

limits for TRICARE covered services, such coverage could exceed $100,000.”I’m on a Non-O, and have it, but don’t need it. I suggest posting in the Tricare in Thailand group…you will get specific answers about the letter from those that are here on an OA visa.

similar experience in Isaan. It seems they can't wave me thru quick enough at road checks.

Get the bank account first, then go to immigration and get the list of docs you will need. If you were stamped in on a visa exempt, you probably need to extend that, then submit your paperwork to start the non-o retirement. Do as the suggestion from
@Lyn***
. My interaction with the immigration staff at Chonburi was much easier by having a Thai person with me.

Likely you can only do this with an agent. They became strict/enforcing rules earlier this year, but no difference for several months now. Assuming you are not married to a Thai or have some other significant ties here. But if just on a visa exempt stamp for <30 days...I believe you will need an agent.

Same with my Non O also...returned today as the date on the blue paper had, they kept my passport, stamped the blue paper with a new date and gave it to me. They told me to come back on the new stamp date which is 6 days later, to get passport with visa, and also do not take a Que ticket, just return to the same window number @Chonburi Immigration Office.

Onwardticket.com. Accepted for visa purposes. About $18. Had one a few months ago when I arrived, flying one-way ATL-BKK on Korean Airlines. KE never asked, Immigration never asked, and no one never asked on any previous trips.
