using Thai name isn't making you a Thai expert so to see on that answer. In my eyes, Thailand is one of the kneading country's concerning cashless payments. I walk around here and go shopping , full days, with not even 1 THB in my pocket. Only my Smartphone

I have to agree here too. It is a total pain in the ass, as many bank clerks do not know how to open a bank account for a foreigner and they make it easy on themselves bye saying "can not do sir" ......

I feel like super happy we don't need to carry around money in our pockets all the time. It also saves on pants repairs due to holes in the pockets caused bye coins. 555

And a 3th point is, as you mentioned yourself, easy to track in your bank app where your expenses money went to
