Question, my son and his friend (both Belgian) are coming to visit me in Bangkok for 20 days. They are coming on an visa exempt.
We are planning to let them sleep 3 or 4 nights at my place before they move on and sleep in hotels. The last 2 nights they stay with me also.
Do I need to register a TM30 for the nights they sleep in my place?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question addresses whether a TM30 registration is necessary for two Belgian visitors staying with the poster in Bangkok for a few nights. Community responses indicate that while legally a TM30 may be required, there is little practical enforcement or need, especially if the visitors will not interact with immigration services during their short stay.
Legally you're required, but as others have said, as there will be no interaction with any immigration office it's a waste of time. When they leave Thailand, immigration most definitely won't be asking to see a TM30
You only realistically need to worry about TM30 if you will be using immigration services. Immigration is the only one who will ever ask for the TM30. Since they are only going to be here for 20 days, they will have no reason to go to immigration, so don't worry about TM30 at all.
. Give your son and his friend your home adress before they arrive, on the very remote chance they are asked at passport control. On my first ever visit to Thailand on visa exempt I was asked for it because I didn't have hotel details and was staying with a relative working here. This was a long time ago and once I provided the adress it was fine.
