I have not received my VAT refund by credit card yet. Anybody know how to make a complaint?
I flew out on April 8th and got the PP10 form stamped by the customs booth in the entrance lobby of BKK airport.
As my flight was getting late i mailed the form in at a later date to Revenue Thailand. It has been several weeks now. Expecting 5-6000 baht. Sent a complain on a web form on thailand revenue department website but no response received there either.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking assistance with a delayed VAT refund after submitting the required PP10 form at Bangkok Airport. They are unsure how to proceed as they have not received a response from the Thailand Revenue Department after sending a complaint through a web form. Comments from the community provide suggestions, including checking if tax invoices were enclosed, verifying the email address used for complaints, and discussing the general process and eligibility for VAT refunds.
Yeah, you need your passport when you make a purchase. It can be a hassle as you have to have the things checked before security, and get your $$$ after security.
You can do it on most things that you export, over a certain amount (I think 2,000?) The retailer has to participate in the program and you need to fill out the form with your passport at time of purchase. Need to be on a tourist visa and need to fly out within 60 days of purchase. Worth it for larger items like a laptop.
King Power is the duty free franchise. You can get VAT refund on stuff bought from many other retailers as well, but they have to be in the VAT refund scheme. Some are, some aren't. I did it before with a laptop I bought from an independent computer shop in Fortune Town for example.
