OA visa success - London

My partner applied for an OA visa online through London early September. At the  appointment to take in paperwork yesterday, they didn't ask to see originals or copies,  just checked barcode and took passport.  OA visa picked up a few minutes ago.  

Dicuments submitted online were Thai issued medical declaration,  ACRO police certificate,  proof of UK address,  1 month current account statement showing required balance in UK bank,  photo,  copy of passporr,  completed declaration.

Congrats

Now make sure that when you ENTER thailand you get stamped in for a year. Many many MANY people on O-A visas don't bother to check and end up getting stamped in with the wrong entry stamp.

Congratulations, it’s good to hear confirmed that they now actually base the application on the electronically submitted forms, and a small easy list too. (When I did it when it first started June... they didn’t even look at the electronic documents submitted.. (they couldn’t access the system) and I had to also supply all originals).

No they didn't say anything. We were a bit worried because they added it as a requirement on the website last Friday. Fortunately it looks like they are waiting until 1 Nov to implement it.
