In Hua Hin they say you have to keep 800 000 in the bank for 60 days after the extension it can't go below 400 000 and has to be back to 800 000 60 days before apply for renewal. The guy even had it on paper to show me. Now I read many people on this group saying the money has to be in for 90 days after and before. Is every office different or did they change the requirements. Thanks. It wouldn't be an issue if I was staying in Hua Hin

good morning. I have a retirement visa. It expires around June 18.

I would like to renew it. What documents do I need (and I remember that the Immigration wants two sets)

* photocopies of justification of address (rent contract...)

* print of the Google map of my address

* bank book: photocopies of operations over one year? Then statement by the bank of what is on my account at a near date)

* and what else?

Thanks a lot for your reply. And best regards

Went to the Bluport immigration office in Hua Hin to start my non O visa for retirement. 2 hours in the queue, presented all my paperwork, was told I need to have at least 15 days left on my visa to apply. They gave me a 30 day extension, 1900 baht.

They told me to go to the main immigration office here and apply the sooner the better, but at least with 15 days or more on my visa.

I had 7 days left on mmy visa and the 800000 baht had just reached the 2 month requirement. I don't recall seeing the 15 day requirement before.

Hi

In Order to apply for a dependent visa (my husband holds a valid work permit) we got the info that we need notarized /legalized Copies for the immigration office in Hua Hin

.

German birth certificate from my daughter.

And

US marriage certificate.

Can we do both at either one Embassy?? How about ministry of foreign affairs ??

Any insight would be appreciated.

Hello.

My husband has a non O-A visa and very recently changed the reason to stay from retirement to having a Thai wife successfully at the Hua Him Imm Office. This means he no longer needs to buy any health insurance.

Can re-entry be problematic due to being on a non O-A visa with no health insurance?

I am sorry if this question is not relevant or has been asked before.

Many thanks in advance.

Hello, i‘m wondering if Covid Extension is still available? I remeber reading something of a deadline in mid July.

I would try to apply at Hua Hin Immigration Office.

Edit: I entered the kingdom with 60 day TR Visa which i already extended once for 30 days.

Thanks!
