Looking for advice & clarity about TM 30 reporting and tourist visa extension.

I arrived in Thailand Jan 10 on a NON-OA visa. I understand I have to do a 90 day reporting if I stay in Thailand 90+ days. I’m confused about TM 30 and the 90 days reporting. Do I still have to do the TM 30 (not sure my airbnb did) if I stay less than 90 days?

ii) My wife is in Thailand as a tourist as well, she has 30 days with her Canadian passport and would like to apply for a 30 day visa extension. Again not sure if air bnb host reported our stay. We initially stayed in Bangkok for 2 weeks and now in Rayong. Do we have to do the TM 30 twice (one for the stay in Bangkok and now our stay in Rayong? And if we are travelling around Thailand, do we have to report TM 30 each time we go to a different place with new accommodation?

TM 30 online reporting questions.

1. When I arrived I did not have to complete a TM 6, and on the online TM30 submission it requests the TM 6 number. Is there any issue if that field is left black?

1. After I submit the TM30 online I don't see any official TM30 form that I can print out or keep a copy of. All I can do is search for it and it shows a summary just like the image below. Is that enough for this task to be complete or is there a way to get a TM30 form to print and keep in passport?

Just wanted to give a quick review of annual extension for retirement at CW.

2 weeks ago I went to my scheduled appointment time and even with all the information I had to hand write my reasoning for switching provinces from Samut Prakarn to Bangkok. All in all it went pretty well and the officer said that they were working to do a fast approval and to come back today with an updated bank book and bank letter.

Arrived this morning and within about 15 minutes had that submitted and my passport returned with the stamp through March 2024.

I walked away telling myself that's great. Still a total of 2 trips but no under consideration stamp. I just paid today and got the yearly. Not sure if this is a growing trend or not. Plus side only 1 stamp in passport haha

They were really focused on the bank balances more so than I've had in previous years so guessing that's more a CW thing.

Hi guys. Me and my husband are under Tourist visa extension due to medical reason - I gave birth last April. Our baby doesn't have a passport yet and our visa will run out on June 5th. Any advice on what to do and what requirements are needed for us to extend? Also, do Thai landlords automatically report to the immigration for our TM 30? Thanks in advance.

I’m seriously thinking of trying to register online for my TM 30 reporting. Can someone please give me the contact web site details to do this. I report to BKK CW.

90 day report US passport. Not able to do on line even though I did last time (along with TM 30, etc). This is not the issue as I'm leaving for my O-A. Once returned with clean plate will start everything over. Due to this leaving for USA, I have some overlap. My notify of extension of stay is 17 sep 2019. I will border bounce on 18 to get 30 day stamp as I depart 15 Oct for USA. Now, I know you get 7day after to file 90 day. If in my review of this group, it appears the grace period does not include this 7 days to report OR exit the kingdom. I understand that I could exit on 16 but that would complicate things on my end (which then I will weigh my options).

Do you have to report back to immigration on TM 30 within 24hr on first entry with non O visa? If so - what are the consequences of not filing other than the 800-2000 fine?

I am in airbnb at the moment but plan to rent longterm after returning from Savannakhet...

hi, anyone knows where to report for TM 30 at Surin province - where is the immigration office ? I am not exactly in the city but in a village around 28km away but it is under Surin province. anyone experience doing TM 30 reporting here in Surin ? TIA

It was suggested by a lawyer that if you are a condo owner with the condo blue book carrying the ownership registration in your name on the tabien bahn you are exempt from TM 30 reporting obligations..because your address is already thereby registered.
