Well, it depends. Earlier it was very easy. Even when I applied 2 months ago, I just wrote dummy flight details and hostel name that I never intended to take. However, if you are applying from Laos, Vietnam, Combodia, Indonesia; make sure to provide confirmed, fully paid ticket and hotel.

Due to high volume of applications, they are extra cautious and we have seen a few rejections from these countries as well in this group.

Till the last time I remember, any work done in Thailand was not allowed in this visa. It includes job and business both. I'm not sure you can operate your personal setup on this visa.

You are still working with a recruitment company in Thailand. This visa is only for those who will never work paid or free in Thailand.

You can apply (get) in Oct, 2025 with an expiry of Oct 2030 and travel first time in Sept, 2030 (whenever you wish). It's not like UAE 5-year visa that must be used in 60 days after approval.

You have 5 years to use it anytime. Unlike UAE 5-year visa that you must use in the first 60 days.

You have to be outside all the time because no one knows when they perform your background check. We got a person denied for the same reason that he visited Thailand after applying DTV. Better safe than sorry because it's a costly visa.
