Update: DTV approved after interview in Karachi embassy.
The ambassador was very nice, friendly, and shared some pro tips as well. When I entered, he mentioned that the ministry has asked me to check your contracts (I work on Upwork as a full time freelancer). After I showed him my profile live with a few contracts, he stopped me and said, "that's enough, I'm satisfied." I asked him a few questions regarding the visa and then left the embassy.
In 90 mins, I got my visa on email. Alhamd o Lillah

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared their successful experience of obtaining a DTV visa after an interview at the embassy in Karachi. The ambassador was friendly and efficiently approved the visa after reviewing the user's Upwork contracts. The user received the visa via email within 90 minutes and was advised in the comments to print it out for travel to Thailand.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
