agree I did dentistry completed the work in first 3 months now will try extension or just border bounce for 5 years. Don't think to much about more than initial application the rest sabai sabai

why agent know better that's rubbish. They can't open it now because they are the ones not secure enough opening for money laundering. You can open an account you just need correct paperwork. Including a letter from you phone company identifying you and your phone number,copy of passport,visa and stamp,letter of house registration from immagration or yellow house book,tax id if you have one. The bank will do it. It has become more strict because of government crackdown on money laundering scams now operating in Thailand. But it is possible on DTV. I have bkk bank and krungthai bank accounts and pay with the app on phone

On onward ticket is not required it's a scam. You DTV is a multiple entry 5 year visa with a 180 day stamp and a 180 day extension an option. You do not require any onward ticket at anytime

Why you worrying about future changes it's nonsense to think that. If there are changes they will be advertised in media by government. Just get the visa and enjoy 5 years coming and going. It's like someone asked here what happens after 5 years this is new visa launched last July not even 7 months old yet

You haven't supplied any information regarding your application so how would anyone here know why you were cancelled they are all just guessing. I suggest you contact the embassy they would be the only ones who would know. Maybe you don't qualify for DTV. But try again if you want it's your money

it's not unreasonable to ask people to search here first. Nothing has changed. And as answered nothing has changed so depends on the embassy that you apply. Yes agree it is advise group but people need to search there needs here and other places first. Then once they are ready to apply ask basic questions that haven't been asked a 1000 times.people that have been successful have posted step by step process for others to follow. But people become lazy and want instant answers take some personal responsibility for your application process

You even get people asking what is 90 day report mean _ do l have to leave every 90 days. Come on these people need kick up the ar$#@ se

You better seek proper legal advise if you don't want to risk being prosecuted or fined. Don't ask in some forum like this you will be more confused. This is basic advise yours is more complicated
