Does it matter if I have a lot of Thai stamps under visa exempt as well as extensions and same day border runs? Will they reject my DTV for this?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The concerns about multiple Thai passport stamps, extensions, and border runs may influence your DTV application, but it's not the sole deciding factor. Applicants must present proper documentation and demonstrate legitimacy. Responses from community members indicate mixed experiences; some faced no issues despite extensive travel history, while others caution that numerous stamps could raise red flags during border crossings. Ultimately, having sufficient financial proof and correct paperwork is crucial for a successful DTV application.
did you know that you apply in an embassy for it and not in this group?

I was here 4 years straight in Ed visas, tourist visas and exempt runs and an 11 day over stay the same year. My remote job also confirmed that i was in fact working for them while on the previous Ed visa. My passport pages were completely full with visas from Thailand so I had to get a new book. They accepted me.

As mentioned, you'll need proper documentation to be a legitimate applicant. They will weigh the pros and cons of your application. Multiple stamps could be a red flag, but that's not the only factor they consider. Immigration may take a greater interest in it when you cross the border. Again, if you're legitimate and able to answer any potential questions, you're fine.

They might. Depends if they believe you are legitimate or not
Anonymous participant Are you able to prove that you will have ongoing work or activities for 5 years? This could be considered evidence of being a legitimate DTV holder. We have seen applicants whose plans consisted only of a two-week cooking class and a single medical appointment in the past. More embassies are now stricter on these.

I had 1,5years exempts and 1year ed, no problems. Lived here 8-9months a year
ok so if I have the money in the bank and the paperwork they ask, is that enough? I'm just wondering since so many people are getting rejected and they appear to be doing everything right
