Well two banks later (SCB & Kasikorn) and I still can’t open one. No more hard sells on insurance but they have said I need a letter from Immigration for residency (or another form of photo ID), which I thought I might get away with ie. could just show proof of where I’m staying. Argh, problem is I’m travelling around a lot for the first 6 months!
