Since they told me that all the documents that I had handed in when I applied for the yearly extension check out I think a Non-O shouldn't be much of a problem. I am thinking about going to Vietnam or Turkey and applying there.

CW told me the best thing way for me would be to get a Non-Immigrant O visa at a Thai embassy or consulate abroad and then return.

What exactly is the correct term for the 60 days visit Thai family extension, how do the Thais call it?

Thanks a lot. There's a lot of information out there and it's quite overwhelming. So if I understand correctly last year I switched to an in-country non-immigrant ED-visa from a Thai language school and I couldn't get another ED-visa, for instance for learning Muay Thai, or a volunteer visa without leaving the country, and a Covid extension is not an option. However I should meet the requirements for a marriage extension, I already looked at a list posted here, my wife will have to show them a lot of documents like where she's employed etc., some we still need to obtain. We will go to CW next week, see what we can find out.

I arrived on a TR visa, extended it once at Mueang Thong Thani, then switched to an ED visa. I have one more extension left in a few weeks, but I like to plan ahead for the time when that extension expires.

With the prenup having to be according to Thai law imho it only makes sense if you are getting married already owning quite a bit of wealth.

I work for a food importer and I have a degree in import/export, so that should be plausible.
