owning is seen as investment. Working in virtually any capacity is seen as taking a job from a Thai. 1st is ok, 2nd only with a work permit.

I just submitted as I got it from the State. As long as it is on official letterhead I think it is good to go. That was my personal experience.

you could copy my stamped pages. There is nothing on individual passport pages that indicate which passport they came from. No numbers, your name isnt on any extension of stay. If you have a copy of the original visa then they may accept your extensions as valid

won't work because they don't have anything that. Identifies them as belonging to you.

Unless you have your old passport in which case they will transfer the visa over easily.

MAKE SURE when you rent a house or apartment that the landlord gives you a TM 30 with all the official stamps etc. If it isnt complete you are going to be out 1600 baht and have a truckload of aggravation getting said form.
Mary ********
Lesson to be learned here is you do not sign a lease without a completed TM 30. My landlord wouldnt do it so I went to immigration paid the 1600 baht fine and took it out of following months rent. She objected until I threatened to call thai tax office complete with copies of the lease and her bank account #.
