For a NI-OA Visa, when submitting the original criminal record document supplied by the State of Minnesota (USA), are you required to authenticate the document? What have others done here? It's not clear to me. Can I just sign the bottom of it and have my signature notarized?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for submitting a criminal record document for a NON-OA Visa typically mandates that it be from an official state or federal authority and not older than three months. According to user experiences, as long as the document is on official letterhead, it may be sufficient without further authentication. However, a notarized signature may also enhance the credibility of the document.
