You'll first need to apply for the 90 days Non Imm O visa and when this runs down to around 30 days you can then apply for a 1 year extention of stay. No seasoning of finances is required for the initial visa only proof that the 800k was transferred from abroad. 2 months seasoning of your 800k is required for the extention of stay.

Not really. USD is fine if you've got it but by the time you've bought Dollars and paid the fees it barely makes any difference.
