Do you need USD for the Lao visa at Chiang Khong, or are other currencies acceptable?
Not sure haven't been there for many years. Do you absolutely need USD for the Lao visa at Chiang Khong? Border bounce only!

Not really. USD is fine if you've got it but by the time you've bought Dollars and paid the fees it barely makes any difference.Laurence **********
